FERRY SERVICE FROM ANACORTES TO FRIDAY HARBOR: Because it is the summer season, it is important to have a ferry reservation. Please go to wsdot.wa.gov/ferries to make a reservation. Reservations are released in three rounds at two months, two weeks, and two days before sailing dates. Be sure to follow all instructions because they are strict about your arrival before ferry departure times. If the ferry is full and you cannot get a reservation, park your car at the ferry terminal parking lot and travel as a walk-on passenger. AIR TRAVEL TO FRIDAY HARBOR: Kenmore Air and San Juan Airlines offer air services from Seattle. TRANSPORATION ON THE ISLAND: If you are not driving your car from the mainland, rental cars and mopeds are available on the island. There are also taxi services - please note there are no Uber or Lyft on the island.

San Juan Island offers a variety of accommodations from hotels and bed and breakfasts to house rentals through AIRBNB and VRBO. Because our wedding takes place in August which is high season on the island, it is important to make your reservations sooner than later. Our wedding venue, Saltwater Farm, rents airstreams on site and also has a free camping area with a shower house.
